The Peter Harrison Centre for Disability Sport in 2011

The Peter Harrison Centre for Disability Sport (PHC) has three strands of research that are incorporated into the Centre’s Mission, Aims and Objectives. Research focuses on:

• Sport Science - led by Dr Vicky Tolfrey
• Sport Culture and Policy - led by Dr David Howe
• Health and Well-being - led by Dr Brett Smith

The Peter Harrison Centre for Disability Sport would like to express its gratitude to the Peter Harrison Foundation and the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences at Loughborough University. The PHC has also received excellent news that the Foundation has agreed to fund the PHC until February 2013. The implications of the continued funding are fully discussed in the Winter Newsletter 2009.
